1. Usage precautions
Read this guide's instructions and safety notes carefully and follow them strictly during use.
1.1 General safety rules
- Read the accompanying documentation first: if it contains insert pages, read them before anything else
- Follow all safety warnings and symbols on the product
- Use the original power adapter: or use only power sources matching the specifications marked on the product
- During thunderstorms: do not plug or unplug network cables, power cords, or other conductors connected to the outside
- Cleaning: unplug the power before cleaning; do not use liquids, sprays, or wet cloths
- Do not disassemble the unit yourself: have it serviced by authorized professionals
- Keep away from heat sources: do not place the unit near heat sources
- Keep dry: avoid water or other liquids spilling onto the unit
1.2 Unplug the unit and contact professional service if any of the following occurs

1.3 Interface usage precautions
Common pitfalls by interface type:

|---|---|
| Power input | Power only from the DC jack; minimum 2A supported when no peripherals are attached |
| MIC | Do not reverse the positive/negative leads; route MIC wires away from high-speed and power lines |
| RTC | Do not reverse the battery polarity; if the clock drifts, replace with a CR2036 (3V) coin cell |
| DEBUG serial | Default 1500000bps; 3.3V logic — level shifting needed for devices above 3.3V |
| TP | I2C touch panels only; connect the panel before powering on; no hot-plugging |
| 40pin IO | 3.3V level; level shifting needed for peripheral IO above 3.3V; mind input/output direction |
2. Maintenance and service
2.1 System upgrade
- Local USB upgrade supported
- Flashing keys: 1× POWER ON + 2× Uboot flashing keys (3588 / 182X, one each)
2.2 Radio interference statement
Under strong radio interference (e.g. electromagnetic fields, static electricity, or line noise), the product may malfunction. Ensure the product is used in a normal environment.
2.3 Troubleshooting flow
1. Device not working

2. Check the power (DC 12V / 5A adapter, cables, fuse)

3. Check the PCIe device (lspci / dmesg | grep pcie)

4. Check that rknn3.service is active (systemctl status rknn3)
↓
5. Check that the RK182X module is fully seated (SO-DIMM slot)
↓
6. Check dmesg logs (dmesg | grep -iE 'pcie|182a|fw_load')
